Hudson Valley Fisheries Hot Smoked Steelhead Trout 4oz
- Our hot-smoked steelhead has been cured with brown sugar and smoked at 145 degrees in all natural applewood. It has a super flakey and decadent texture. Each piece weighs 4 oz., has never been previously frozen, and has a shelf-life of 30 days in the refrigerator unopened.
We love to enjoy hot-smoked steelhead in salads, dips, scrambled eggs, or simply as is on a cheese platter. It resembles kippered or baked salmon but much less fishy and less salty. It pairs very well with lemon zest, horseradish, cucumbers and arugula.
