DoughCo Bagels is an artisan bagel company inspired by founders Josh and Jacob Small's experience in the Midwest for college and the lack of bagel options. While in school, they decided to fill the void by teaching themselves the art of bagel-making for fun. Upon moving back to New York in 2022, they dabbled in corporate jobs and launched DoughCo Bagels with the goal of serving the NY Metro area through farmers markets and wholesale accounts by delivering high quality bagels and spreads. Our bagels feature our own milled malt to make them crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, with subtle sweetness, and great seed coverage. Between launching as a side project in 2022 and now, DoughCo Bagels has grown to over 4,000 bagels/week for 18 farmers markets and 5 wholesale accounts. Through this growth, the brothers have maintained a strong commitment to quality, ensuring each handmade bagel is up to standard and only using unbromated and unbleached flours.
