Each Masienda tortilla is made from whole-kernel heirloom corn (non-GMO) that is gently cooked and slowly steeped in alkaline water for 12 hours. Their authentic, scratch-made tortillas are naturally gluten-free and have no gums or preservatives. Pile high with your favorite taco toppings, layer into enchiladas, or use to scoop up salsa, soups, and more. Have leftovers? Try making chilaquiles, a traditional Mexican brunch dish that relies on crisped-up tortillas, eggs, and salsa.
Warming instructions: Rub a small amount of water on each side of the tortilla before heating on a nonstick pan, skillet or other flat surface for about 20-30 seconds per side, or until pliable and steamy.
Ingredients: non-GMO blue corn, alkaline water.
