Frog Hollow Farmstead

Frog Hollow Farmstead

In March of 2020, after years of dreaming, and months of planning, we moved from an iconic suburban town on the west side of Cleveland, OH to a 100 acre farm in a town of 800 that was full of history and promise, planning to restore the 1787 farm to its original farmstead glory. We are a small farm in historic Hubbardton, VT using holistic, organic and sustainable farming practices to bring high quality, gourmet food to your table. Also a chef, our owner creates unique flavors, in small batches that highlight the season using ingredients straight from our farm and other local Vermont farms that share our passion for regenerative, sustainable farming practices.

We are a family of 6 that loves time together, the outdoors, family dinners, and movie nights.  We love to cook, bake, and especially eat!  We love the farm because it gives us more time together outdoors and in the kitchen…. and growing all of our own produce is a plus!

Janis, a chef with a passion for all things food, runs the farming operations and the kitchen.  Jason has a full-time job off the farm but helps on the evenings and weekends with all things maintenance, building fences, and whatever else the farm (or his wife tells him) we may need.

Rachel, our oldest, loves to crochet, and helps to run the retail store, social media & marketing while attending college at UMass Boston studying Global Affairs and Human Rights. Emily attends Belmont University in Nashville, studying Social Work, and Psychology and Sarah is in her Senior Year in High School back in Ohio.   It’s hard not to have all of them here on the farm, we miss them when they’re off conquering the world.

Grady, our youngest is in 3rd grade and helps feed the animals, loves to cook, go exploring and create just about anything with boxes, wood, and whatever he can find.
