Bursting with juicy sweetness, Limited Batch Peach Crumble Peanut & Pecan Butter feels like a sun-soaked early summer afternoon, warm and inviting. A celebration of the South and one of our favorite seasonal desserts, this nut butter offers a peachy, crunchy, and delightfully bright bite in every spoonful.
Our flagship high-oleic Runner peanuts and Organic Texas pecans combine for a rich base, simply sweetened with touches of Organic coconut nectar and raw Organic honey and studded with the satisfying crunch of Evie’s Sweet and Salty Pecans and house baked granola. Real peaches, peach oil, cinnamon, and Jacobsen sea salt round it out, adding warming spice and luscious punches of peach to create a nut butter that’s as delicious as it is innovative.
We love Peach Crumble spread on vanilla yogurt bowls, spooned on homemade ice cream, as the perfect dip for fresh fruit, or as a snack straight from the spoon. Just like peach season itself, this nut butter is fleeting—only here through June 30!
HISTORY OF CRUMBLE
Popularized in WWII-era England, fruit crumbles have been long enjoyed for their simple sweetness and ingenuity, as the stewed fruit and oat-butter-sugar topping was (and is) far easier to prepare than pastry. The first known recipe for a fruit crumble hails from Canada, published in Farmer’s Magazine in February 1917. Crumbles—alternately called Crisps in different regions—are recognized as a widely British institution, enjoyed across England, Ireland, and the Commonwealth of Nations alongside custard, but we love them for their ease of making and texture elevation from the popular Southern cobbler, both best served with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream.

OUR MISSION IS TO BUILD A HEALTHIER RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR PLANET THROUGH DELICIOUS, NUTRITIOUS FOODS MADE WITHOUT COMPROMISE.
We believe that food matters. It should be good for the people who eat it, good for the people who grow it, and good for the planet.
Mark and Megan Overbay have long been passionate about making delicious food centered around culinary craft, integrity, and sustainability. The inspiration for doing so through nut butter originated from Mark’s experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zimbabwe, where he missed his favorite food – peanut butter – and decided to make his own. By hand crushing locally grown peanuts and mixing in salt, honey and coconut oil, he made one of the best things he’d ever tasted. Back in Durham, North Carolina, he and his wife, Megan, who had already built a local following for her homemade energy bars, wanted to share that small-batch, handcrafted approach to food with others, and by doing so, build a business based on culinary craft, integrity, and sustainability. Big Spoon Roasters launched their lines of small-batch, handmade nut butters and snack bars in January 2011.
