We’re Troy and Winston — childhood friends turned gravy-makers. We always bonded over a craving to stir sh*t up. By college we were tired of boring bland premade pasta sauce, so we set out to create a sauce that has more flavor & more fun than your traditional canned marinara.
By blending equal parts nostalgia and innovation we perfected the art of the Sauz to share with the world. Our sauces aren’t just for spaghetti — they’re for late-night pizza parties, impromptu picnics, and cozy Sunday suppers.
Founded in 2023 by childhood friends Troy Bonde and Winston Alfieri, Sauz is a Los Angeles-based company reimagining pasta sauce for a new generation. Frustrated by the lack of innovation in the sauce aisle, they set out to create bold, flavor-forward sauces that blend nostalgia with modern culinary trends.
