Wan Ja Shan's line of organic products caters to today's health conscious consumer. Made from premium organic ingredients, their sauces are GMO free and certified organic by QAI and the USDA. With a wholesome flavor that enhances any dish, we welcome you to try what Food & Wine Magazine selected as one of the best tasting soy sauces on the market!
Used as an all-purpose seasoning for all Japanese and Chinese dishes, Asian stir fry, marinade for all meats and seafood, barbecue sauce or a Dipping sauce for dumplings, sushi, tofu, dim-sum, salads, etc.
Ingredients: Organic soy sauce (water, organic soybeans, organic wheat, salt), organic vinegar, organic evaporated cane juice, organic onion powder, organic garlic powder and organic ginger powder.
Almost 75 years ago, our founder, Wen Hwa-Wu went a little over the foodie deep end. Under the tutelage of Buddhist Monks, he crafted an heirloom recipe for soy sauce that we still use to this day.
Our company’s name literally translates as “The Aroma of 10,000 Houses,” because it was whispered that you could smell Wu’s sauce from miles away. Wan Ja Shan bottled up that Salty Passion and crossed the ocean to turn dinner on its head State Side. If that wasn’t enough, Wu couldn’t just open a factory and call it a day. He felt the need to do it right. Go figure.
Wu built our home in Upstate New York, where we have access to clean water and the peace of nature. Because calm and patience are essential ingredients in our authentic process. Oh yeah…social and eco-responsibility…don’t even get us started. These are the tenants on which he constructed the companies ideals. So yeah…all in all. He was a pretty o.k. guy. Spice is nice, but that rich, salty Umami flavor… is oh, so much better.

We are a local food distributor based in New York’s Hudson Valley. We were founded in Kingston, NY in 2011 as Hudson Valley Harvest. Since then, we’ve delivered farm transparent local food throughout the Northeast to wholesale customers, including restaurants, catering companies, cafes, grocery stores, and schools, as well as directly to individuals and families, serving customers from Saratoga to Central New Jersey. We’re your one-stop shop for all of your favorite local foods.
In 2018, we acquired and merged with Local Bushel and moved to a larger warehouse in Germantown, NY. In 2018, we also acquired and merged with Athens, NY-based Field Goods, an online retailer delivering local food to individuals at over 3,000 homes and pick-up sites per month.
By merging with Local Bushel and Field Goods, we expanded our product list, grew our delivery radius, and improved our service offering. We are now providing an even bigger impact to our local farming community and making it easier for consumers to get access to local, sustainably grown, healthier food. To signify and celebrate this growth, we changed our name to Hudson Harvest in the summer of 2020.
